Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Quite a long time ago I donated some Iraqi Dinar currency to your organization. Well, in His timing

              PRAISE GOD, THE IRAQI DINAR HAS FINALLY INCREASED IN VALUE!!

Now you need to exchange your Dinar for Dollars. If your organization currently banks at a Credit Union or a small bank that does not exchange foreign currency, consider the following.

Consider calling a branch of one of the major banks (Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Citibank, or Chase bank) and ask if  that branch exchanges the Iraqi Dinar. If they do, ask if they can authenticate your Dinar on the spot or if they’ll need to send it to another branch. NOTE: Authenticate? What does that mean? After Iraq invaded Kuwait in 1990 the UN put Iraq in Chapter 7 until they paid back Kuwait for all the damage they caused. Immediately Iraq re-issued all their currency by removing Saddam Hussein’s face from their notes. Now, after many years, the Iraqi Dinar can be exchanged again. The note(s) you have is/are new to the major banks. So depending on the level of training the teller you deal with, the bank may want to authenticate these new Bills that they’ve never seen before, before they they exchange your Dinar into Dollars and credit  your account.

If the first branch you call cannot authenticate the Dinar ask them which branch can. Then call that branch to confirm they can authenticate the Dinar and give you a cash receipt when you leave. Tell them you want to open a new account using the Iraqi dinar you will exchange at their branch. Ask if you need to schedule an appointment or should you just walk in.

NOTE: This is a once in a lifetime deposit and you want TO MAKE SURE YOU DON’T LET THOSE DINARS OUT OF YOUR SIGHT WITHOUT A DEPOSIT RECEIPT. With that cash receipt, you’ll have immediate access to your funds.

And if you want your exchanged money back at your preferred Credit Union or small bank, wait a week or so and wire your money from the major bank where you did the exchange back to your preferred Credit Union or Bank.

For those organizations that already bank at one of the major Banks, start by calling the branch manager and get things rolling

AGAIN, DO NOT LEAVE YOUR BANK WITHOUT A DEPOSIT RECEIPT IN YOUR HAND.

If I can help in any way,
let me know.
